THE ONLY TRANSFERABLE VEHICLE ARMOR IN THE WORLD
TruArmor® is globally patented vehicle armor technology, the lightest bullet-resistant glass on the market, and the only system in the world that transfers from one vehicle into another. Decommission a patrol vehicle and the armor goes with you to the next one. That permanently changes the economics of vehicle hardening.
TruArmor bullet-resistant vehicle glass is the thinnest and lightest shatter-proof window system available. Provides optimal protection without adding unnecessary weight or impacting the ability to roll down windows. Multilayered, world-patented, made in the USA, no retrofitting required.
Globally patented technology allows ballistic protection to transfer between vehicles. When a patrol unit is rotated out of service, TruArmor moves with the department to the replacement vehicle, protecting your investment across the lifecycle of your fleet, not just a single vehicle.
Patented vehicle armor absorbs bullet energy and prevents ricochet, stopping shots without creating secondary projectile hazards to bystanders. Reduces the liability exposure that comes with standard armored vehicle glass and protects officers, occupants, and the public.
DOT-certified for use on public roads. Independently third-party tested and approved against NIJ and ANSI/UL test standards. Abrasion resistant, impact ball drop tested, optical clarity verified for luminous transmittance compliance.
Windows and paneling designed to fit existing OEM slots, no special tools, no body modifications. Choose your protection level: windows, doors, windshields, or full 360-degree coverage. Configure protection to your operational threat profile.
AGENCIES ARE ALREADY BUYING THIS, MORE FUNDING IS ON THE WAY
Patrol vehicle armor is not a hard sell to a skeptical market. It is an actively funded, fast-growing procurement category right now, with the agencies that move first locking in the only system that follows the vehicle’s full duty life rather than the vehicle’s resale value.
Fort Worth PD already runs bullet-resistant glass in 100 patrol vehicles and 17 SWAT units, added 130 more in 2025, and has 130 more planned for 2026, backed by $1M a year in local funding plus a $1.2M state grant.
Texas House Bill 2217 created a dedicated state vehicle armor grant. Georgia’s House Bill 967 is advancing a similar program through its Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. Other states are watching both closely.
The Bullet-Resistant Law Enforcement Vehicles Act, introduced in Congress, would expand federal grant eligibility for vehicle armor upgrades, backed by police associations nationwide.
Many agencies fund equipment like this through cooperative purchasing vehicles such as NASPO ValuePoint or Sourcewell rather than running a full solicitation for every department, the same kind of streamlined channel Victus Defense already navigates for facility hardening work. Combined with TruArmor’s sole-source patent position and the only transfer-between-vehicles design on the market, agencies that lock in now are not locking themselves into a single cruiser’s resale timeline.
BALLISTIC BOARDS, ENGINEERED FOR YOUR APPLICATION AND BUDGET
Not every vulnerable point is glass. Ballistic boards reinforce walls, doors, counters, and partitions, retrofitting onto existing structures in hours, not weeks. The boards are available in several substrate constructions, each engineered to a different combination of weight, threat level, and cost, so the level of protection can be matched to the application and the budget rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all panel. At as little as 1–3.2 lbs per square foot, versus 20–30 lbs/ft² for conventional opaque ballistic panels, they outperform Kevlar, AR500 steel, and fiberglass on weight without sacrificing protection.
A fiber-based substrate built for facilities prioritizing minimum added weight and cost-efficient coverage across large wall or partition areas.
A refined fiber layup engineered for a balance of weight, durability, and threat resistance, a common choice for interior reinforcement.
The most durable substrate option, suited to high-traffic or high-threat applications where structural rigidity matters as much as ballistic performance.
Every configuration shares the same core advantages: zero ricochet through capture-round design, no structural modification, and installation measured in hours per opening rather than weeks of construction.
Each level also defeats threats at the levels below it. Independent NIJ-standard testing, ask your Victus Defense representative for full test documentation.
Need something outside these standard tiers? Custom configurations are available, ask us about your specific application.
LIGHTEST, THINNEST. STILL PROTECTS.
