90° Room Number Signage

Mount room-number signs at a 90° angle, in red, at every classroom door. A number readable from twenty feet away cuts the time first responders spend finding the right room in an emergency.

A Fire Extinguisher at Every Door

Beyond fire safety, a fire extinguisher at each classroom door gives staff a way to temporarily slow an intruder attempting forced entry, discharged under the door, it fogs the area and makes it harder for someone to move or see clearly.
