Grants & Funding

Funding Solutions

DON’T LET BUDGET BE THE REASON GLASS STAYS UNPROTECTED

Substantial security funding is available at the federal, state, and local level, and most organizations are not taking full advantage of it. Victus Defense actively helps clients identify, apply for, and navigate grant programs that can fund Clear-Armor installations at little or no direct cost to the organization.

Because Clear-Armor requires no permits, no construction, and no glass replacement, the total project cost is dramatically lower than conventional security glazing upgrades, making it easier to fully fund through grants.

DHS Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP)

Federal funding for physical security improvements at nonprofits at high risk of targeted attack, houses of worship, schools, community centers.

DOJ STOP Act / COPS Program

Department of Justice community safety programs covering physical security for schools and public safety facilities. The COPS School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP) offers up to $500,000 per award for school hardening, typically with about a 25% local match.

FEMA BRIC Program

Pre-disaster mitigation funding covering blast mitigation and forced-entry protection improvements for public facilities.

State & Local Security Programs

Every state maintains security-related grant programs. Victus Defense helps navigate these at no additional cost.

GRANT ASSISTANCE IS PART OF WHAT WE DO

Victus Defense includes grant identification and navigation support as part of our client engagement. We understand government procurement timelines, budget cycles, and compliance requirements, and we help you make the case that Clear-Armor is the right investment.

As an SDVOSB, our projects also qualify for set-aside and sole-source designations that streamline the procurement process for government-funded installations.

Our Funding Philosophy

EVERY GRANT STARTS WITH A STRONG ASSESSMENT

The single biggest factor in whether a security grant gets approved, and fully funded, is the assessment behind it. Reviewers need a clear, credible picture of the risk before they’ll commit dollars to fixing it. A strong assessment doesn’t just support your application; it can be the difference between full funding and a rejection letter. See what our assessment process covers →

Already Have an Assessment?

If your facility has a recent, credible security assessment on file, we’ll use it directly, no need to start over. We’ll help translate the findings into grant-ready documentation.

Need One? We’ll Build It.

Victus Defense provides full security assessments designed specifically to meet the documentation standards grant reviewers expect, covering risk, vulnerability, and recommended hardening measures.

Have a Preferred Assessor?

We’re glad to coordinate directly with your existing security consultant or local law enforcement partner to make sure the assessment aligns with what funders are looking for.

Free Self-Assessment Tools

For K-12 schools, CISA’s School Security Assessment Tool is free, self-guided, and built to satisfy the documentation most federal school-security grants require. Take the CISA Assessment → Healthcare, government, and commercial facilities follow a similar standard, our own assessment process covers those cases.

Three Ways To Get There
Self-Administer

No cost. Run the self-assessment yourself and use basic AI tools to help draft the application. With a little time, most organizations can manage this on their own. Start your own self-assessment here →

Assessment Assistance

For a small fee, our team helps you complete the assessment and shapes it into grant-ready documentation, you or a partner handle the application from there.

Partner-Assisted

We work with a small number of fee-based grant partners who carry strong award track records and run continual funding strategies across multiple budget cycles rather than one-time bets. Most back their work with a free second-year application if the first submission isn’t funded.
